Commercial & Practice Terms
Terms of engagement, documentation standards, and warranties.
Clear, plain-language answers covering how Kelvorina conducts engineering requirements consultation, structures formal work orders, protects client intellectual property, and guarantees specification accuracy.
Last updated and effective date: October 27, 2026. Practice address: 1371 Cherokee Street, Denver, Colorado 80204.
When did these terms take effect?
These terms of engagement took effect on October 27, 2026. They govern every interaction on this website, every scope evaluation requested through our technical forms or direct communication desk, and every formal consulting agreement initiated with our Denver office.
If you engaged Kelvorina under a written statement of work prior to October 27, 2026, the specific provisions of that executed document control your project milestones. All general website interactions, introductory evaluation requests, and new task orders initiated on or after this date are governed by the operational terms published here.
Who operates this practice and where are you located?
These terms form an agreement between you and Kelvorina, an independent engineering and product requirements practice headquartered at 1371 Cherokee Street, Denver, Colorado 80204, United States.
The practice is led by Maria Ivanova, requirements consultant since 2018. We specialize in engineering requirements consultation, system requirements consultation, interface control documentation (ICD), and independent requirements verification reviews for complex technical programs with long decision cycles. You can reach our office by telephone at +1 (698) 555-9980 or by direct email at office@kelvorina.com.
What services do you provide and what falls outside your scope?
Kelvorina provides three core professional services:
- Engineering Requirements Consultation: Structured technical decomposition, EARS notation structuring, functional breakdown, and environmental constraint definitions billed at 150 to 250 USD per hour.
- System Requirements Consultation: Subsystem architecture boundary definitions, multi-vendor interface control document (ICD) structuring, and bidirectional verification matrices billed at 150 to 250 USD per hour.
- Requirements Audit & Verification Review: Exhaustive technical audits of existing specification packages to uncover ambiguous statements, unprovable verifications, and vendor delivery risks, delivered as fixed-price engagements between 1,000 and 5,000 USD per project.
We are an engineering documentation and specification verification desk. We do not manufacture hardware, write production application code, provide legal contract drafting, or issue governmental regulatory certifications. Our deliverables establish verifiable technical baselines; your designated engineering authority retains ultimate sign-off responsibility for physical manufacturing and field deployment.
Does submitting an inquiry commit me to a purchase?
No. Kelvorina is an inquiry-only website. There is no shopping cart, no self-service checkout, and no instantaneous payment processing anywhere on this site.
Any estimate calculated through our symptom and interface scope lookup tool is an indicative estimate based on historical averages (turnaround of one to three business days, one to three discovery sessions, and audit brackets from 1,000 to 5,000 USD). It is not a binding quote.
An inquiry becomes an active professional engagement only after three discrete steps:
- You submit a technical scope description or schedule a preliminary 55-minute discovery consultation.
- Maria Ivanova evaluates your requirements volume, interface count, and documentation depth within one to three business days.
- Both parties sign a formal Statement of Work (SOW) defining milestones, specific verification criteria, deliverables, and payment milestones.
How are consultation fees and audit projects priced?
All rates are quoted and billed in United States Dollars (USD). Our commercial terms are straightforward and based entirely on the complexity of your technical specifications:
- Hourly Consultations: 150 to 250 USD per hour, structured in 55-minute focused milestone sessions. Each session addresses a single subsystem boundary or approximately fifty requirement lines.
- Fixed-Scope Audits: 1,000 to 5,000 USD per project. Standard audit preparation turnaround is one to three business days.
Where your project falls within these brackets depends strictly on documented scoping determinants:
- Total volume of requirement statements requiring syntax restructuring.
- Number of distinct mechanical, electrical, or data interfaces between subsystems.
- Number of formal stakeholder review rounds required before baseline sign-off.
- Whether formal delivery documentation (such as formal verification cross-reference matrices or vendor ICDs) must be compiled for procurement.
- Whether on-site technical inspection or test bench verification visits in the Denver metropolitan area or elsewhere are necessary.
- Seniority level of the consulting personnel assigned to direct technical reviews.
What rules govern how I may interact with this website?
You may use this website to review our requirements engineering methodology, study past project records, inspect technical sample templates, use the scope calculator, and submit bona fide professional inquiries.
You may not:
- Scrape, extract, or harvest technical copy, proprietary traceability flow diagrams, or annotated technical plates using automated crawlers without prior written authorization.
- Submit fraudulent, automated, or misleading project briefs through our inquiry forms or chat widget.
- Attempt to bypass rate limiting, security controls, or input sanitization on vajoad4.php or wamo91f.php.
- Misrepresent your identity or project authority when requesting confidential documentation evaluations.
Who owns the specifications, documentation, and website content?
We maintain a rigorous separation between our proprietary consulting methodologies and your project deliverables:
Your Project Deliverables: Upon payment of agreed consultation fees or project audit milestones, you own all rights, title, and interest in the bespoke requirements specifications, interface control documents, and verification matrices authored specifically for your system. We claim no ownership over your proprietary technology, mechanical designs, or business logic.
Practice Methodology & Templates: Kelvorina retains full ownership of its pre-existing requirements templates, approval checklists, styling standards, EARS syntax guidelines, and internal documentation management systems. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, adapt, and maintain these templates internally for the lifecycle of the documented system.
Website Content: All text, vector diagrams, annotated plates, photographs, logos, and scripts published on kelvorina.com are the intellectual property of Kelvorina. They are protected under United States and international copyright laws.
What delivery guarantees and revision warranties do you provide?
We stand behind the clarity, syntax rigor, and traceability of every deliverable produced by our Denver desk. Our proof is grounded in twelve completed capital projects delivered with fully traceable requirements and verified stage-gate approvals.
Thirty-Day Verification Warranty: For thirty calendar days following the final delivery of an engineering specification package, interface control document, or requirements audit report, Kelvorina warrants that all authored requirements adhere to agreed structural standards (including EARS notation and bidirectional traceability to designated parent items).
Defect Correction: If your team identifies an internal ambiguity, an untraceable requirement ID, a grammatical inconsistency, or a contradictory tolerance statement within thirty days of delivery, we will revise and reissue the affected documentation at zero additional cost within three business days.
What the Warranty Excludes: This warranty covers documentation defects and syntax consistency. It does not cover subsequent engineering changes requested after scope baseline lock, unforeseen third-party vendor design changes, hardware fabrication failures, or regulatory rejections arising from inaccurate technical source data supplied by the client.
What disclaimers apply to engineering recommendations and estimates?
Information published on this website, including articles on EARS syntax, interface control methodology, and scope calculation figures, is provided for general technical guidance and evaluation purposes only.
Engineering requirements engineering is an empirical discipline that relies directly on the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of technical inputs provided by project owners and subcontractors. Kelvorina does not guarantee that a verified requirements document will prevent all project delays, vendor disputes, or manufacturing overruns if the underlying physical architecture is unsound or if contractors deviate from the documented baselines during execution.
What are the legal limits on your financial liability?
To the fullest extent permitted under Colorado law and applicable United States statutes, Kelvorina, its principal Maria Ivanova, and any contracted technical specialists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. This includes loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, manufacturing downtime, subcontractor remobilization expenses, or project milestone delay penalties arising from the use of our recommendations or website materials.
In all cases, Kelvorina’s aggregate cumulative liability arising out of or related to any consultation session, verification review, or document deliverable shall not exceed the total fees actually paid to Kelvorina by the client under the specific Statement of Work giving rise to the claim during the six months immediately preceding the event.
When can an engagement or site access be terminated?
Either party may terminate an active consulting engagement by providing written notice if the other party materially breaches any term of the executed Statement of Work and fails to cure that breach within ten business days of receipt of written notice.
In the event of early termination, the client shall pay Kelvorina for all hourly sessions completed and all milestone deliverables submitted up to the effective termination date. We reserve the immediate right to suspend or terminate website access, evaluation bookings, or direct desk support for any party that engages in abusive conduct, attempts security intrusions, or submits falsified project data.
Which jurisdiction governs disputes and where are claims heard?
These terms, all website interactions, and any formal consulting agreements arising from them are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Colorado and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or our consulting services shall be instituted exclusively in the state courts situated in the City and County of Denver, Colorado, or in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Both parties irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts and waive any objection regarding inconvenient forum.
How are updates and amendments to these terms communicated?
We periodically review and update these terms to reflect changes in our consulting practices, statutory requirements, or digital services. When adjustments occur, we update the effective date at the top of this page.
We do not introduce retroactive alterations that affect already executed Statements of Work without mutual written consent. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised terms.
How is this website made accessible to visitors with disabilities?
Kelvorina is committed to ensuring that technical documentation standards apply equally to digital accessibility. We construct our web pages in strict alignment with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA conformance criteria.
Our implementation standards include:
- Contrast Ratios: Text ink contrast ratios exceed 6.4:1 on secondary notes and 11.1:1 on primary typography against our oat background (#E8DFD0), far exceeding the 4.5:1 standard.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including our corner navigation trigger, disclosure accordions, chat widget, and scope calculator controls, are fully reachable and operable via keyboard with clear focus indicators.
- Screen Reader Semantics: We enforce logical heading hierarchies, semantic HTML5 landmarks, explicit table structures with row and column headers, and descriptive alt text for all technical photography.
- Reduced Motion: We respect operating system preferences for reduced motion; all scroll-driven and animated SVG paths immediately render in their final, static state when
prefers-reduced-motion: reduceis signaled.
If you experience any accessibility barrier while browsing our site or reviewing our specification templates, please notify us directly at office@kelvorina.com or by telephone at +1 (698) 555-9980. We prioritize remediation requests within three business days.
